The title says it all. I realized that it is going to be quite a major task to get ALS ready for download again because:
- I have not worked on ALS for the past 1/2 year and I have completely lost track of which version is the most stable build. (For your info, I have exactly 10 builds of ALS lying on my hard drive, not counting those non-salted version)
- I have to setup my current site to serve as an update server again (and this is probably the easiest of all the tasks)
- And I do have my prelims in 5 weeks and hence have limited time.
So bear with me.
Hey, I downloaded v0.02 beta of you’re script before, and since, the install.php file has been lost (most likely because I didn’t need it anymore until now). If you could find the install.php file for me and send it as an attachment in my email or whatever, that would be awesome. If not, then I guess I’ll have to script another one… but I’d rather wait for the original.
Thanks,
-Sean(Star)
Hi,
I can send the install.php file for the v0.02B to your email, but perhaps you would be more interested in getting the v0.03B version? It features a lot more improvements and is more secure.
One note though, the source code the v0.03B is encoded.
Id rather have the uncoded v0.02B version. =P
I like to be able to change stuff, make it custom to how I want it to look, so v0.02B would be fine for my site. Thanks for your script, I use it often. I made my own, but it wasn’t cutting it, and I had to patch security holes every five seconds….
Hello,
I am so sorry, but I don’t seem to have a copy of v0.02B any more after my previous server crashed. However, if you are just looking to install the SQL tables, the v0.03B one probably works too since I didn’t change the database framework. (as far as I can remember)
I will try looking in my other external hard drive that has my older backups. In the mean time, I have sent the v0.03B install file to your email – you can try if it works.
