Tugu Yogyakarta

Tugu Jogja is the iconic symbol of the city of Yogyakarta. Located on a line connecting the Sultan’s palace to Mt. Merapi (literally “Fire mountain”), it is said that the tip of the obelisk points to the peak of Mt. Merapi.
